Son Simó Vell is a typical Mallorcan farm (possessió) characterized by a balance of the rural environment and the farmhouse with a minimalistic interior that makes the most of natural light.

The farmhouse’s facilities will ensure that guests enjoy Mallorca’s mountain scenery to the full while enjoying every physical comfort.

As guests explore their natural surroundings they’ll find something of interest at every turn: woodlands with tree species native to this soil, olive orchards, vineyards, almond trees, and holm oaks that live to over 100 years, forming a listed area of outstanding natural beauty. On the farm itself there are also Talaiotic monuments going back over 3,000 years, and visitors can enjoy the unique privilege of examining one at close quarters right in the garden, next to the swimming pool.

Son Simó Vell is a working farm producing wine, extra virgin olive oil, oranges, lemons, vegetables, and eggs from their own hens etc., all of which is offered to guests.

The hotel consist of 4 double rooms and 4 junior suites, all equipped with a fully equipped bathroom (bath, shower and hairdryer), air conditioning (heating and cooling), free wireless Internet connection (WiFi), minibar, telephone, satellite TV, free safe for valuables, bathrobes and towels for use at the pool.

The farm has very good communications: within a radius of just a few kilometres are the mediaeval town of Alcúdia; the lovely beaches and coves of Pollensa and Formentor; golf courses; and other places of great interest to tourists, to complement the sights that can be seen by touring the island.

The services available at Son Simó Vell are for patrons’ use only. Accommodation always includes breakfast. Dinner will be served if booked in advance.
