Coastal walking Mallorca: Cap de Cala Figuera circuit

Posted: Thursday, 22nd May 2014

One of the great beauties of walking Mallorca is the breathtaking coastal views. But you have to be super fit and an experienced hiker to tackle Mallorca coastal walking tracks right? Not quite. The stunning Cap de Cala Figuera circuit is one of the many nice walks that you can do on Mallorca without experience or fitness. In fact you will find Cap de Cala Figuera pretty much flat and rather easy to boot.

Step onto the trail at Playa el Mago and meander around the edge of Cap de Cala Figuera peninsula.  Turquoise waters and fertile coastlands spirit you away to what feels like blissful solitude.

There is plenty to captivate your eye and lens along the way. Engrossing rock and cave formations, old marble quarries, the lighthouse and a watchtower in ruins. Be sure to pause and soak up striking views at the many natural look-out vantages along your way.

The Cap de Cala Figuera circuit is approximately 10km. So allow around three and a half hours for this panoramic Mallorca walking experience.

The town of Palma is nice and handy to the Cap de Cala Figuera circuit. And we have some fantastic boutique and luxury hotels in Palmas old town.
