Cala Mondrago Beach, South East Mallorca

Posted: Tuesday, 6th December 2011

Cala Mondrago is surrounded by a beautiful National Park in the south east corner of Mallorca in the municipality of Santanyi. This area is one of the few remaining regions of Mallorca that have yet to be discovered by the major tour guide operators and as a result, is populated with only a handful of independent travellers who are keen to explore beautiful scenery that is off the beaten track.

If you are hoping to experience rural Mallorcan life at its most authentic best, then a day laying on Cala Mondrago beach is a must.

There are two sandy coves, both of which are bordered by rocky headlands with pines edging their way down to the waters edge, plus scenic walking trails in the national park. Or simply rent a sun lounger and relax.
